School Refurbishments Works: Voyage Learning Campus - Milton

North Somerset Council require a Principal Contractor to deliver refurbishment works at the Voyage Learning Campus - Milton, in Weston Super Mare to enhance the council's Alternative Provision and Special Education Needs and Disability (SEND) support.\r

The works entail the refurbishment and extension of the existing building within the school grounds and includes:\r

• Phased construction works\r

• Forming of a new entrance area\r

• Removal of existing entrance atrium\r

• Construction of two new single storey classrooms\r

• Light / medium refurbishment works\r

• Replacement of existing roof, 2nr roof lights south of the atrium\r

\r

The refurbishment elements will include both light and medium refurbishment, including new floor coverings, decorations, and moving of some internal walls and partitions.\r

\r

All elements will need to be phased around a live school environment delivering Alternative Provision and Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) support with consideration to both students and staff.\r

\r

The project will be managed under JCT Intermediate Building Contract with Contractors Design, estimated 24-month contract duration (12 months of defects).\r
