UK E-Sourcing Portals & Tendering Systems Directory

The notice is published centrally; the documents, clarifications and the bid itself sit on the buyer’s e-sourcing portal. This directory sizes each portal by the notices that send suppliers there and records what registering takes.

Before you register

What the portals themselves require · checked September 2026 · registration is free on every portal listed here

  • Register before the notice you want, not on deadline day. Several portals review new accounts by hand, and none extends a deadline for a supplier still waiting on approval.
  • One account per buyer on Atamis and In-tend. Both run a separate portal (and login) for each contracting authority; the notice tells you which one.
  • DUNS number for the GCA (ex-CCS) eSourcing portal. Free from Dun & Bradstreet, but not instant: apply ahead of the first framework you plan to bid.
  • NCAGE code for the Defence Sourcing Portal. Mandatory for Ministry of Defence suppliers; issued by the UK National Codification Bureau on its own timetable.
  • Keep the portal reference from the notice. On login-walled portals (Atamis project code, ProContract DN number, Delta response code) it is the only way to find the exercise once inside.
  • Upload early. Portals close at the published minute; most helpdesks keep office hours only.

Registering on portals

Common questions before you sign up

Do I have to register on every portal?

No. Register on the portals your target buyers use: each portal page lists the authorities that publish there. The national portals (Public Contracts Scotland, Sell2Wales, eTendersNI) cover most public bodies in their nation; England has no single portal.

Which portals are not listed here?

Smaller and buyer-own portals (OPEN-UK, TCS TAP, Panacea, East Midlands Tenders, London Tenders Portal and others) are recognised on tender pages but do not have their own page yet.

About this data
  • Source. Official UK public procurement notices (Find a Tender), reused under the Open Government Licence v3.0. New notices arrive through the day; the figures are rebuilt nightly.
  • How a notice is linked to a portal. By the submission link the notice publishes. 26,237 of 37,067 tender notices publish one; award notices rarely do, so portal figures lean towards open tenders.
  • Independent. Portal and operator names belong to their owners and appear only to show where notices are published; Tenderline is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any portal.
  • Every figure shows what it rests on. Not every notice publishes a bid count, a value or a delivery region, so each figure carries the number of records behind it, and one built on few records is marked as such. The on a figure explains it; the counting rules are in the methodology. Spotted something wrong? Tell us.
