How to bid on ProContract
Portal facts checked against the live portal in September 2026 · the notice always names the exact portal instance to use
ProContract by Proactis (the Due North product Proactis bought in 2016; the due-north.com domain is still live in notices) powers procurement portals for hundreds of UK public bodies. Many run under their own regional brand on the same system: The Chest (North West), NEPO (North East), YORtender (Yorkshire), Kent Business Portal, Supplying the South West and the South East Business Portal.
Suppliers register on the ProContract supplier network (supplierlive.proactisp2p.com or procontract.due-north.com). Bidders express interest, access tender documentation, submit clarifications through the portal messaging hub, and submit encrypted bids.

About this data
- Source. Official UK public procurement notices (Find a Tender), reused under the Open Government Licence v3.0. New notices arrive through the day; the figures are rebuilt nightly.
- What counts as ProContract. A notice whose submission link points to this portal, including buyer-specific instances (29 addresses so far). Award notices rarely publish that link, so the awards side is undercounted. Notices from 4 Jan 2021 to 23 Oct 2026.
- Portal facts. Registration and login notes were checked on the live portal in September 2026. Portals change their sign-up steps; the notice’s own instructions take precedence.
- Independent. Portal and operator names belong to their owners and appear only to show where notices are published; Tenderline is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any portal.
- Every figure shows what it rests on. Not every notice publishes a bid count, a value or a delivery region, so each figure carries the number of records behind it, and one built on few records is marked as such. The on a figure explains it; the counting rules are in the methodology. Spotted something wrong? Tell us.
