The procurement falls outside the scope of application of the directive
Published justification

The current contract with EON had an option to extend the contract. Due to the current energy crisis in Europe new rates were provided and agreed to with EON for another 12 months contract with the option to extend for 12 months. An analysis for similar Gas and Electricity Service requirement in Germany had been undertaken by an external provider that the current market and recommendation to renew existing contract.

Publisher note: Contract awarded single source to EON Energie Deutschland GmbH for 12 months with an option to extend for 12 months for Gas and Electricity to houses in Germany.
