The Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership (ACHSCP) requires the provision of additional care and support at home services for adults for an initial period of 3 months from January to March 2023, with a potential extension of 12 months to March 2024. It is anticipated that in the region of 2,300 additional hours will be required per week during this period to respond to higher demand over winter and add capacity to the system. We are looking to increase our services to enable people to remain in, or return to their own homes, living as independently as possible and to maintain or promote their potential in relation to physical, intellectual, emotional, and social capacity. Additional capacity is required from as early as possible in January 2023, and providers are asked to confirm the date from which hours can be delivered.
