What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionSouth Ayrshire Council wish to appoint a suitably experienced contractor for the construction of a new 6M GBP Sports Development at Craigie in Ayr, Scotland.
This project will include significant civil engineering works (cut and fill) to the entire site to provide an engineered platform and proposed levels. Following the cut and fill exercise the contractor is required to construct an 8 lane 400m outdoor running track with synthetic surface to IAAF standards, track and field activities (such as long jump), complete with spectator grandstand, infield grass area and all associated land drainage, track and field drainage, milling areas, footpaths, pedestrian areas, floodlighting and fencing. Published award criteria (2)
- Quality: 30
- Price: 70
- Price carries 70 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 7 points. This one is won on the number: sharpen the price before polishing the prose.
Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
