Published requirement descriptionThe Addiction Healthcare Goals (AHG) programme, led by the Office for Life Sciences, aims to make the UK a hub for innovation in addiction treatment by fostering collaboration between researchers, industry, the NHS, and the Third Sector. A key focus is improving the use of addiction healthcare data in research to develop effective treatments, improve lives, and reduce the wider harms of drug and alcohol addiction. We are seeking a supplier to lead the drafting of a UK Addiction Research Data Roadmap, identifying key data sets, research challenges in addiction healthcare data and proposing potential solutions.

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) is seeking early market engagement for the development of a UK Addiction Research Data Roadmap. This roadmap will outline key research challenges in addiction-related healthcare data and explore potential solutions. This is not a call for competition, but an opportunity to gather feedback to better understand market capabilities, refine the procurement strategy, and encourage supplier engagement. Interested parties can access the relevant documents via the Atamis system at health-family.force.com/s/Welcome ↗ using the contract reference. Suppliers may also submit the completed questionnaire through Atamis but must be registered on the system to do so. Alternatively, questionnaires can be submitted by email to ccsinbox@dhsc.gov.uk, quoting ‘AHG – Data Roadmap’.
