The Enabling Environments standards are now the agreed parameters for effective practice performance delivery throughout the Approved and Independent Approved Premises (IAP). They underpin staff engagement, environmental construction and offender relationships. As such they inform front line delivery aswell as providing a performance benchmark.
The Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCP) currently deliver this service and are the sole market provider as they created and manage the framework of standards.
