Published requirement description

Wrexham County Borough Council is looking to appoint up to seven Contractors to an Environmental Improvement Municipal Engineering Works Framework.

Wrexham County Borough Council is currently in the process of upgrading their housing stock to comply with the Welsh Housing Quality Standard (WHQS). The Housing Department is currently working on their External Works Programme, which includes a wide range of works to the gardens within the curtilage of the property and schemes on Council owned land. In addition to these works, there is an ongoing budget to complete environmental improvements work, which is an ongoing process.

This Framework is for various works, with full details available in the tender documentation available free of charge in etenderWales.

What this means for your bid
  • Price carries 50 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 5 points. This one is won on the number: sharpen the price before polishing the prose.
  • “Environmental Improvement Municipal Engineering Works On Housing Land” is a framework: the contest is a place on its panel, up to 7 suppliers, not a single contract.

Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
