Published requirement descriptionThe Welsh Government (WG) wishes to commission an evaluation of the rapid implementation of Injectable Buprenorphine (Buvidal) which forms part of the range of interventions within opioid substitution treatment (OST) services. Buvidal is a new form of OST which replaces the need for daily supervised consumption with weekly or monthly injections.

- The proposed methodology, detailing how the aims, objectives and requirements (section 2 within the specification) of the project will be addressed.: 30%
- Details of the staff who will be directly involved in delivering the project, including the suitability of personnel who will be deployed, in terms of their roles, knowledge and expertise: 15%
- Demonstration of a clear understanding of the policy context and need for the research.: 15%
- Understanding of and ability to meet the project timetable, taking account of dependencies and risks. A draft risk register, outlining any mitigations, must be provided.: 10%
- Approach to assessing and addressing ethical issues (including data protection) arising in the proposed work.: 10%
