Publisher note: Scotland Excel plans to renew the Children's Residential Care and Education, including Short Breaks, framework in 2022. It is anticipated that a streamlined approach and application process will be used to award providers to the framework. This streamlined process will be designed to reduce the administrative burden on providers seeking to take part in the new framework. Details on how to apply will be set out in the Contract Notice which is expected to be published at the end of February. Scotland Excel is intending to hold a series of engagement events with providers on focused themes relevant to the renewal. Anyone interested in participating in these should email: socialcare@scotland-excel.org.uk to register by 31 January 2022. Sessions will be held via MS Teams. Session numbers may be limited to allow effective dialogue. Feedback may be used to inform the tender development process, however neither Scotland Excel nor any contracting authority will be bound to accept any views stated. Participation is not mandatory and any party not participating will not be disadvantaged in the tender process.
