Published requirement descriptionUnited Utilities has had a Strategy of centralising the monitoring of its site-based assets for a number of Asset Management Periods (AMPs). Primarily this is to provide alarms to the Integrated Control Centre (ICC) manned 24/7, so that the appropriate business response can be actioned. Increasingly, in support of the Systems Thinking Strategy, data is required in near-real time for more pro-active discovery of events and optimisation of processes.
