Every one of these 2 lots carries the same published figure, £176,640,000: it is the framework's maximum for the whole notice, not each lot's own budget, and no share per lot is published. The cards below say ceiling above rather than repeat it.

An IV extension set is a single-use medical device consisting of tubing and connectors in various lengths. It is designed to extend the reach of a standard intravenous (IV) administration set when the original tubing length is insufficient for clinical needs.

These extension sets may be configured as single-lumen or multi-lumen and can include optional adjuncts such as stopcocks, anti-siphon valves, and back-check valves to support safe and efficient drug delivery. Some models are compatible with NRFit connectors for enhanced safety in neuraxial and regional anaesthesia applications.

TIVA IV extension sets are commonly used in Total Intravenous Anaesthesia (TIVA) procedures, allowing for the simultaneous administration of multiple anaesthetic agents while maintaining drug separation and minimizing the risk of cross-contamination.

How bids were scored

Lots publish different evaluation splits; there is no single procedure weighting.

What this means for your bid
  • Price carries 30 points on every lot: a 10% discount moves about 3 points.
  • “Intravenous Connection and Pressure Monitoring TN” is a framework: the contest is a place on its panel, not a single contract: each call-off is a further competition, so the pricing contest starts after appointment.

Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
