Northern wishes to appoint a GRIP 5-8 contractor to undertake the detail design, sourcing and installation of combined toilet/baby change facilities (‘build within existing building’ or ‘installation of standalone Pods’) at 69 of its stations portfolio:

5 x Stations with installation in existing building;
26 x PODs located on a platform;
38 x PODs located off the platform (carpark area / concourse area).The successful supplier will be required to source, from their selected manufacturer, the Pods to conform with Northern’s detailed specification and then provide installation on site.Support Services to this project are being provided by Vextrix.Project budget is approximately £1.5m and these works are to be delivered in financial years 2022/23 – 2023/24.This below UCR threshold tender will be published around the end of July 2022.
