The current RO website is housed on the Content Management System (CMS), Adobe Business Catalyst which is due to close in September 2021 and as such a full migration of the current website to another CMS is required.
The website migration project aims to not only re-establish the RO website in another CMS, but also to review current analytics with a view to optimising user journeys and develop a new area of the website to showcase the project’s evaluation.
We are seeking to appoint a supplier to migrate RO’s current website to a new CMS, suggest some minor improvements to optimise user experience and support with training RO staff on the CMS. The following steps set out the work required:
- Pre-migration
- New CMS build and setup
- Migration & UAT
- Go Live, Training and future maintenance
This opportunity will be advertised to Lot 1 (Web Services, SEO and digital content) suppliers of the Dynamic Purchasing System (NU1589).

- Price carries 40 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 4 points. The method statement decides this lot, not the discount.
- “(NU/1589-10) Web Agency Support for Realising Opportunities (RO)” is a dynamic market: the contest is a place on its panel, not a single contract.
Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.

The University will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. That notification will provide full information on the award decision. The standstill period, which will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into.
The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (SI 2015 No 102) provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) within 30 days of knowledge or constructive knowledge of breach.
