Pharmacy Locally Enhanced Services Contract

The Authority intends to develop one single point of contact between commissioning and the overarching pharmacy specialist provider with one contract and single specification that encompasses all Locally Enhanced Service provision detailed within its components. The lead provider (LP) will be responsible for contracting with all of the 107 Pharmacies across Bolton. Responsibility for pharmacy management, development, guidance and improvement. The LP will be responsible for promotion and communication of the service to improve engagement.

The lead provider (LP) will be responsible for contracting with all of the 107 Pharmacies across Bolton. Responsibility for pharmacy management, development, guidance and improvement. Incident management will be overseen by the LP. LP will provide ongoing training and regular clinical support as well and review and implementation of revised Patient Group Directives (PGD's). The LP will be responsible for promotion and communication of the service to improve engagement. LP will be responsible for contracting, monitoring visits, performance management and monthly reports and administration.
