Lot #1Network Rail is seeking to put in place a framework for the delivery of Rail Skills…PlannedLot estimate not published

Network Rail is seeking to put in place a framework for the delivery of Rail Skills training. Rail skills are those required to enable our staff to work on and around Network Rail's live infrastructure.

We envisage that the Contract could be split into a variety of Lots by specific skill set and may be awarded to multiple suppliers per Lot or just one Master Vendor.

The types of training envisaged to be included in the Framework are likely to fall into 7 areas. Additional information: Please follow this link for full information and instructions

Lot distribution rule: The Framework includes 8 (eight) lots as is split by training specialism. Network Rail are looking to award a contract to 1 (one) Strategic Delivery Partner per Lot. There is no restriction as to the number of Lots Tenderer’s can bid for and win.
What this means for your bid
  • Price carries 40 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 4 points. The method statement decides this lot, not the discount.
  • “Rail Skills Training Framework” is a framework: the contest is a place on its panel, up to 8 suppliers, not a single contract.

Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.

Publisher note: The purpose of the pre-procurement market engagement event is to gather market intelligence from organisations that can deliver training for specific Rail Skill areas to Network Rail employees in the areas listed, and to seek feedback on how best to structure the Framework, tender and potential call-offs to meet both the market's capability and Network Rail's requirements. This is an opportunity for suppliers to feedback to Network Rail. Organisations wishing to express interest in attending this pre-procurement market engagement should follow the instructions within this link https://networkrail.bravosolution.co.uk/esop/guest/go/opportunity/detail?opportunityId=52560
