Published requirement descriptionThe FSA has undertaken a range of horizon scanning and foresight activities in the past, but has recently consolidated this activity within a Strategic Insights Team (SIT) in the Analytics Unit of the Science, Evidence, and Research Directorate (SERD). TheSIT acts as an all-source assessment cell, providing situational awareness, and identifying opportunities and challenges from the current and future operating environment to the achievement of the FSA mission. The team works hand in handwith the StrategyUnit and other areas of the FSA to help identify responses and policy options.
