Published requirement description

Lancashire County Council has tendered for organisations to provide statutory Advocacy Services to the people of Lancashire.

The procurement is made up of two lots:

Lot 1 Lancashire Advocacy Hub

Lot 2 Lancashire Carers Service.

These are two separate services although they are integral to each other.

Lot 1 - Lancashire Advocacy Hub

The Advocacy Hub will be an independent advocacy service ("the Lancashire Advocacy Hub" or "the Hub") to ensure that all eligible people will have access to advocacy. Lot 2 Lancashire Carers Advocacy

This is a distinct service exclusively for carers. The service will provide all statutory advocacy for carers under the Care Act, will seek to increase awareness of the rights of carers under the Act, and liaise closely with the Independent Advocacy service, the Carers Assessment and Support Service and other council-procured services to promote the availability of and engagement with the new Carers Advocacy service. This is a Light Touch, Schedule 3 Procurement process.
