Published requirement description

Fife Council's Roads Operations are responsible for the provision of a local transport strategy for Fife Council, which includes the construction and maintenance of carriageways and footways within Fife. The purpose of the tender is to meet all the requirements in the supply of road stone materials and other general quarry requirements, which includes aggregates, dry and coated materials, as well as ready mix concrete. Roads Operations activities take place across Fife and cover a range of works, therefore access to a range of suppliers across Fife is critical

  • Recurrence: Estimated timing for a further notice to be published if 12 month extension not used: May 2025

CPV: Aggregates · Coated roadstone · Granules, chippings, stone powder, pebbles, gravel, broken and crushed stone, stone mixtures, sand-gravel mixtures and other aggregates · Gravel, sand, crushed stone and aggregates · Ready-mixed concrete · Roadstone

What this means for your bid
  • Price carries 80 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 8 points. This one is won on the number: sharpen the price before polishing the prose.
  • “Supply And Delivery Of Roadstone Materials Framework Agreement” is a framework: the contest is a place on its panel, up to 12 suppliers, not a single contract.

Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
