Published description of the framework
Lots 1 – 3 & 5
Orders with an estimated value of up to £10,000 will be direct awarded to the first ranked Supplier on the applicable Lot, following the awards without re-opening competition process defined in Framework Agreement Clause 4.2. The Supplier will be expected to provide the service in accordance with the prices, delivery times and specifications agreed under this framework. If they are unable to do so the second ranked Supplier on the list will be contacted and so on.
Orders with an estimated value over £10,000 will be awarded by mini competition between the four Suppliers on the framework lot. The Suppliers will be notified of the work programme and will be asked to provide a price to complete all the specified work. The work programme will be awarded to the Supplier based on price and ability to meet any specific requirements of the job.
A mini competition may also be used for work under £10,000 that does not fit the standard requirement of the framework, or where additional resources or equipment will be required to complete the work programme.
Lot 4
All Orders are awarded following the awards following mini competition process defined in Framework Agreement Clause 4.3.

- Pricing
- Price carries 40 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 4 points. The method statement decides this lot, not the discount.
- “Tree Safety Framework - South District” is a framework: the contest is a place on its panel, not a single contract: call-offs may be direct or by further competition.
Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
