Published requirement description

ACE 1011 ITT - Private Dance Schools Research 2025/26

ACE is seeking a contractor to conduct research that will help ACE to better understand the current role of Private Dance Schools / studios throughout England (in terms how they fit into local cultural infrastructure, particularly in relation to geographical and socio-economic differences). ACE also seeks to understand how Private Dance Schools/studios contribute to 1) professional pathways and workforce development, and 2) promotion of under-represented and culturally diverse dance forms.

Please note this tender is being evaluated on the basis of the scope of requirements and budget available for the initial term only (6th Oct 2025 - 31st Mar 2026, £40,000 including VAT). Subject to satisfactory contract performance and further budget approval for the project’s continuation, there is the option to extend the contract to December 2026. The next stage of the project will utilise the mapping completed in this study to determine the opportunities for diversification and talent development across the private dance schools sector. The further budget for the project’s continuation if approved, is likely be in the region of £48,000 including VAT.
