Barnet Council is required to provide transportation services and assistants for passengers who qualify under statutory and discretional policies. These services include, but are not limited to, Education transport including Special Educational Needs transport, Adult Day Care Centres and Services. Type of work is split by vehicle and specialism. The Dynamic Purchasing system is open to any operator to join at any time, upon satisfying the entry criteria

Publisher note: Following novation of contract from Cambridge Education to London Borough of Barnet, London Borough of Barnet are issuing this notice to inform market of the change and extension period to the Dynamic Purchase System. This notice is for award of contracts under the DPS from 4th September 2017 up to 3rd September 2021 (4 years) and for a further extension period of 4 years from 4th September 2021 to 3rd September 2025. This contract will continue to operate as a DPS with opportunities for suppliers to join and withdraw during this period. DPS opportunities will be made available to qualified suppliers on this DPS. This notice is for award of contracts under the DPS from 4th September 2017 up to 3rd September 2021 (4 years) and for a further extension period of 4 years from 4th September 2021 to 3rd August 2025. This contract will continue to operate as a DPS with opportunities for suppliers to join and withdraw during this period. DPS opportunities will be made available to qualified suppliers on this DPS. For information on the DPS please contact transport.brokering@barnet.gov.uk, Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee: Provision of services novated to London Borough of Barnet (LBB) following unforeseen reset of contract which required novation and extension by LBB. As part of contract extension, Contract Award notice modification was identified to clarify DPS Contract period, as well as, value. The estimated value per annum for this arrangement is 1,600,000 GBP. The budget for these contracts is held by Barnet Education & Learning Service Ltd (BELS) and is funded through the service fee paid to BELS under the contract between the LBB and BELS. There are therefore no financial implications to LBB.
