Powys County Council has completed a procurement exercise for Fire Door Inspections, Remedials and Replacements across Housing and Corporate Property assets throughout the County of Powys.

The procurement was divided into four lots:

  • Lot 1 – North Powys Corporate Properties Fire Door Remedials & Replacements
  • Lot 2 – South Powys Corporate Properties Fire Door Remedials & Replacements
  • Lot 3 – North Powys Housing Properties Fire Door Inspections, Remedials & Replacements
  • Lot 4 – South Powys Housing Properties Fire Door Inspections, Remedials & Replacements
  • The authority expects to re-tender this requirement around 19 Jun 2029, 23:59 BST.
  • No preliminary market engagement: Preliminary market engagement was not undertaken for this procurement, as the requirement is well‑understood by the market and suitable suppliers are readily identifiable. The procurement was therefore progressed directly to an openly advertised tender.
