What is being bought

Published requirement description

Oldham Council are looking to procure approximately 1200 Street Litter bin housings; however, this number may increase or decrease subject to needs and requirements. In addition we are also looking to procure 20 x 240ltr solar powered bins to complete this large scale replacement program.

Street Litter Bin Specification

The Council required standard housing for the following size bins. Further requirements can be seen in the table below.

  • Standard Housing x as required 140ltr
  • Standard Housing estimate x 1200 240ltr
  • Standard Housing x as required 360ltr

Contract terms
Performance terms

Quarterly reports will be required to monitor adherence to contractual standards; any work

falling outside of the minimum standards shall be included in this report.

The Contractor will provide, implement and monitor a remedial action plan should

performance fall below acceptable standards/agreed targets for more than one reporting

period in succession.

The KPIs used to monitor performance will include:

  • 300 bins minimum to be delivered every month
  • Installation of minimum 50 per week (where option has been taken)
