Authority: National Museums Liverpool (Central government)
What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionNational Museums Liverpool (NML) is inviting tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to enter into a multi-provider framework agreement to undertake Graphic Production and Installation across our exhibition galleries and venues.
NML typically produce 18-22 Exhibitions and Displays across its 7 venues per year with at least 5 of those being considering large-scale. We also have several permanent galleries which require maintaining to a high level. We would be expecting contractors to be producing graphics including but not limited to large-scale printed wallpaper, graphic panels on substrates, printed and cut vinyl, labels, recyclable/sustainable signage, and screen printing. The requirements of each call-off contract will contain varying scope depending on the design and exhibition venue.
- How the procedure runs: This procurement is being conducted via a two-stage competitive flexible procedure. The first stage will assess the mandatory criteria in section 5, the technical questions in section 6, and Pricing in section 7. The eight highest scoring suppliers will then be invited to stage two where they will be required to submit a selection of samples as outlined in Section 8. The scores from the two stages will then be combined as outlined in section 4.5 with the 5 highest scoring suppliers awarded a place on the framework. - Price carries 10 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 1 point. The method statement decides this lot, not the discount.
- “Framework Agreement for Graphic Production and Installation” is a framework: the contest is a place on its panel, up to 5 suppliers, not a single contract: call-offs may be direct or by further competition.
Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
