What is being bought

Published requirement description

The Energy Consortium (TEC) is looking for a sole supplier to be appointed onto a Framework Agreement for the supply of potable water, wastewater services and related ancillary services primarily for use in the higher and further education sector.

This Framework is designed to meet the needs of both TEC and Other Contracting Authorities by establishing an agreement where the end customer will have a supply agreement with the Supplier and the Supplier will deliver direct to the end customer.

CPV: Energy-efficiency consultancy services · Meter reading service · Water distribution and related services

Tenderers must hold the correct legal and regulatory status for water services in the UK.

What this means for your bid
  • Price carries 20 of 80 points: a 10% discount moves about 2 points. The method statement decides this lot, not the discount.
  • “Framework Agreement for Water, Wastewater and Ancillary Services” is a framework: the contest is a place on its panel, up to 1 suppliers, not a single contract.

Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
