GMCA 592 Manchester Night-Time Welfare Scheme
Authority: Greater Manchester Combined Authority (Local council)
What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionThe GMCA is commissioning the provision of a night-time welfare support service to vulnerable people within Manchester’s Gay Village night-time economy. Greater Manchester has one of the best nightlife scenes in the UK, and we are keen to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy it in a safe way. This service is to be focused on providing support to vulnerable individuals in and around the Gay Village area of Manchester on a Friday and Saturday evening. The service will be expected to, in partnership with licensed premises and emergency services, support those that are most vulnerable, and therefore at greatest risk of becoming the victim of a crime.
