Published award criteria (2)
- Price: RFQ Price will be submitted via document G. Bill of Quantities. Bid prices will be scored on a comparative basis with the lowest bid receiving 100% of the available marks (80% following weighting). All other bids will be compared against that lowest bid. For example: Assuming Price is weighted at 80%. Supplier A submits a price of £180,000 and Supplier B submits a price of = £200,000. Supplier A would be allocated 80% (being the least expensive i.e. 100% of the weighted score) and Supplier B would be allocated 72% ((£180,000/£200,000) x 80%).
- Quality: Both quality question submissions received from each bid, who passes the participation criteria, will be individually evaluated and moderated on a 0-5 assessment scale.

- Price carries 80 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 8 points. This one is won on the number: sharpen the price before polishing the prose.
Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
