Published requirement description

The Authority seeks to establish a multi-supplier, multi-Lot Framework for the provision of Passive Fire Safety requirements of its Members and other Public Sector Contracting Bodies within Regions of Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The Framework is split into

Lot 1 Scotland

Lot 2 Northern Ireland

CPV: Fire doors · Fire-prevention installation works · Fireproofing work

How this framework works

From the published notice
Places
up to 16 suppliers · 5 bids on the busiest of 2 lots (0.3 per place) · 5 appointed

Lots and requirements (2)Procurement structure

2 lots · all with a published value · same evaluation weights on every lot

Every one of these 2 lots carries the same published figure, £125,000,000: it is the framework's maximum for the whole notice, not each lot's own budget, and no share per lot is published. The cards below say ceiling above rather than repeat it.

Published award criteria (2)
  • Quality: 60
  • Price: 40
What this means for your bid
  • Price carries 40 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 4 points. The method statement decides this lot, not the discount.
  • “Passive Fire Safety Framework - Scotland & Northern Ireland” is a framework: the contest is a place on its panel, up to 16 suppliers, not a single contract.

Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
