Published requirement descriptionDRS Wagons have a recurring requirement for Overhauls and General Repairs for Wagon Rail Stock. This procurement is to contract with a supplier(s) that have the capability and the capacity to meet the Repair demand for the Wagon Rail Stock.
The contract is divided into two lots:
Lot 1 is exclusively for FNA-D Wagons that require the Overhaul A Service.
Lot 2 is exclusively for KUA and KXA-C Wagons that require the General Repair Service.

Lot 1 is exclusively for FNA-D Wagons that require the Overhaul A Service.
The demand is for an anticipated 30 x FNA-D Wagons with a future potential for an additional 10 x FNA-D Wagons (equaling a total of 40). Additional information: The tenderer can bid for either lot 1 or lot 2 or bid for both lots 1 & 2. However, each lot will be assessed within its own rights and each lot will be awarded to the Most Economically Advantageous tender for that specific lot.
Lot #2Wagon Type: KUA & KXA-CPublished value£600,000
Lot 2 is exclusively for 2 x KUA and 6 x KXA-C Wagons that require the General Repair Service. Additional information: The tenderer can bid for either lot 1 or lot 2 or bid for both lots 1 & 2. However, each lot will be assessed within its own rights and each lot will be awarded to the Most Economically Advantageous tender for that specific lot.

In accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, the Contracting Authority will also incorporate a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period from the date information on award of contract is communicated to tenderers.
