Heriot-Watt University intends to contract with PAL Robotics S.L. for the supply and delivery of 2no. TIAGo++ and ARI robots.

A scoping exercise was conducted by end user within the University`s School of Mathematics & Computer Sciences with findings drawn that only TIAGo++ and ARI robots from PAL Robotics can meet all of the specification of requirements to enable HRI research to be conducted.

The date included at V.2.1 of this notice refers to the date for the publication of this Voluntary Ex Ante Transparency Notice only. Heriot-Watt University will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to suppliers by means of this VEAT notice.
