The Council intend to award the contract via the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 utilising Direct Award process C:
NHS provider has been satisfying the outgoing contract and is likely to be able to satisfy the new contract in line with PSR Direct Award C. Unlikely that there are any other providers in the sector that could provide a comparable service.

For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 31st March 2026 to Procurement@manchester.gov.uk.
