Official UK procurement notice
SDF Lot 3.1 C_ Chevron Traffic Management Limited A
Authority: National Highways Limited (Central government)
What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionNational Highways continues to roll out the Asset Delivery model to its operational areas. There is a
requirement to deliver a range of renewal, improvement and selected small scheme construction works on the
Strategic Road Network in areas utilising specialist contractors working collaboratively with National Highways
to deliver these works. It is envisaged that this framework will straddle two Road Investment Strategy (RIS)
periods (RIS 2 and RIS 3) enabling a smooth transition between them. Works for schemes have been divided
into a number of workstreams that align with the contractors' specialisms, and will also include design.
Bandings have been introduced into the framework model to differentiate some contracting terms between
bands.
CPV: Construction work · Construction work for buildings relating to road transport · Construction work for highways, roads · Crash barriers · Engineering design services for the construction of civil engineering works · Engineering-design services for traffic installations · Erection of road-barriers · Fencing, railing and safety equipment installation work · Highway operation services · Installation of traffic guidance equipment · Installation of traffic lights · Installation of traffic monitoring equipment · +17 more

- Price carries 80 of 140 points: a 10% discount moves about 8 points. This one is won on the number: sharpen the price before polishing the prose.
- “SDF Lot 3.1 C_ Chevron Traffic Management Limited A” is a framework: the contest is a place on its panel, not a single contract.
Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
