What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionLincolnshire County Council (LCC) is in the process of re-commissioning and procuring contracts to deliver its commissioned Shared Lives Services when the current arrangements conclude on 31st March 2025.
Shared Lives is a form of social care which offers people an opportunity to receive their care and support in a family-based environment. In Shared Lives, an adult who needs support, or support and accommodation, is matched with an approved Shared Lives carer, who supports and includes the individual in their family and community life. Support can be in the form of a live in arrangement where the individual shares the Shared Lives carer’s home, Shared Days where the carer provides daytime support, or overnight Short Breaks.
The Provider is expected to be responsible for providing this service, liaising closely with the Council.

Lincolnshire County Councils (LCC) is in the process of re-commissioning and procuring a contract to deliver Shared Lives Services from 1st April 2025. To that end we are seeking to understand the market’s preferred approach to a number of important issues to inform the decision making process. Engagement will be undertaken initially by gathering the views of the market through a pre-procurement market engagement questionnaire.
Information on the existing services including a summary scope and budget information along with the Council's indicative project timescales are all detailed on the Pre-market Engagement Questionnaire.
The questionnaire is available on ProContract at procontract.due-north.com ↗, the deadline for the return of the questionnaire is 16:00 on Friday 28th June 2024.
We may also have some follow up questions, if so, an appointment will be made to speak on Teams.
