The overarching aim of the Event Security Services Contract is to ensure the safe, secure, and well managed operation of all venues, events and associated public spaces governed by the Authority in the areas of Harrogate, Craven, Richmondshire and Selby.
Following the conclusion of the evaluation process and standstill period, the Supplier originally ranked 1st for Lot 2 has formally withdrawn its tender. In accordance with the procurement process and evaluation outcomes, the Authority intends to award Lot 2 to the Supplier ranked 2nd, having achieved the next highest overall score.

- Risks
During the term of the contract, modifications may be required to keep services up to date with changes in Legislation relating to security services. The total estimated value of all three Lots is £16,662,000 (inc. VAT). While an estimated value has been assigned to each Lot, the Authority reserves the right to allocate the overall value as it deems appropriate based on the demand for services over the duration. As this is a demand-led service, the Authority does not guarantee any set volumes of work under each contract.
