Supply & Distribution of Baby Packs

A Funding source has been made available for a package of baby goods that will support the expense that surrounds a newborn baby.

An initial procurement exercise suggests that the Council needs further information on how our ambition can be realised by engaging with potential providers with regards to a number of areas as highlighted below:-

1. The development of a detailed specification outlining the desired appearance and contents of the Baby Pack.
2. The assembly, storage, and distribution of the packs to homes in Rotherham.
3. The management of fluctuating order volumes and payment processing.
4. The application of the Council's social value policy to this procurement.

Feedback was gained from the market following the initial market engagement event which took place on the 16/07/2024 to discuss the above areas, this informed discussions to shape the procurement.

The Council now wish to present the findings and decisions taken and seek final feedback from potential interested parties in order to commence the procurement process.
