- Change The contract is to be extended to cover the audit required for the University’s 2021 financial year. The contract also covers non-statutory audits that cover the wider university, this extension will cover the wider audit requirements of the University until a replacement contract has been tendered., Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee: Since March 2020 the Covid-19 pandemic has required Finance stakeholders to focus their efforts on a shift to home working and maintaining continuity of financial services . These challenges continued though 2021. The modification does not alter the overall nature of the contract, Any increase in price does not exceed 50% of the value of the original contract.
