Publisher note: From 7th February 2023 the Annual Value will be £350,421 3 Additional Beds were purchased from 6th October 2022 through to 31st December 2023. Estimated to have a maximum cost of £59,245.15 (Fixed Cost £17,710.15 + Variable Cost £41,535) A further 3 beds were purchased from 1st January 2023 through to 31st December 2023 which has a maximum annual cost of £47,396.12 (Fixed Cost £14,168.12 + Variable Cost £33,228). This modification notice highlights the continuation of the additional 6 Beds from 1st January 2024 through to 5th February 2025. This would be at an additional cost of £102,691.58 This would bring the Total Contract Value to £1,950,621.58

- Change A previous modification notice was published outlining the needed to modify the contract to add 6 more beds temporarily until 31st December 2023. These have now been approved until 6 February 2025, Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee: Since December 2021, it is mandated by central government that West Berkshire participates in the National Transfer Scheme, meaning we are expected to have a number of Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children equivalent to 0.1% of our child population. This was not foreseen at the outset of this contract.
