Tender for the Provision of Care and Support Service for a Young Person with Complex Needs
Authority: Buckinghamshire Council (Local council)·Consortium: 2 public authorities
Buckinghamshire Council (BC), in partnership with the Buckinghamshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), are looking to procure a contract to provide the care and support service for a placement for a young person (the client) with complex needs. The client is currently in a semi-secure hospital placement but has been assessed as ready for discharge into the community with a Care Plan for him to transition to a Residential Children’s Home. The provider will be responsible for the delivery of the contracted care and support service for the client within a joint Ofsted and CQC registered setting. The provider will need to work closely with the health, social care and education services to meet the client’s social, educational and medical needs. Given the complex nature of this young person and the need to develop an effective partnership with a provider, this procurement is seeking a block contract for a minimum of three years with an option to extend twice by a further 2 years.
