UKRI is planning to launch a procurement for a contract to provide electricity via direct wire (behind the meter) solar PPA for the STFC. Direct wire is sought from any supplier who is able to secure land within 5km of the site in Harwell, Oxfordshire, who has a demonstrable expertise in solar power, and who can manage the full end-to-end process, including all planning permissions, system development etc. STFC is seeking to enter into a contract with one supplier at a price of pence per kilowatt hour that can demonstrate best value to the public sector for that period.

Please email STFCProcurement@ukri.org with the subject "UKRI-2255 PPA - EOI" to register your interest, intention to attend the supplier event and confirm the number, names and email addresses of those attending. Registration must be received by 14.00 BST on Wednesday 20th July 2022 to ensure the joining details are issued to you. All suppliers that express an interest in this requirement will receive all the information that is shared at the supplier event, even if they cannot attend. Please note, the deadline referenced in this notice is the deadline for expressing an interest in the supplier event and is not the deadline for the submission of tenders.
