What is being bought

Published requirement description

Wrexham County Borough Council is seeking to establish a single Lot Framework Agreement for the refurbishment of vacant Council owned dwellings (voids) together with planned internal and external property maintenance. Typically the Council has 670 properties a year that would be covered by this Framework, with work packages varying in price from 1,000 to 40,000 GBP, although values may be higher for properties requiring major refurbishment.

There will also be a requirement to carry out repair work as and when required. It is anticipated that planned maintenance and repairs will equate to 10% of the annual turnover.

  • Recurrence: Subject to extensions, 4 years.

CPV: Building construction work · Construction work for houses · Construction work for multi-dwelling buildings and individual houses · Houses construction work · Overhaul and refurbishment work · Repair and maintenance services · Repair and maintenance services of building installations

  • Price: 70
What this means for your bid
  • Price carries 70 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 7 points. This one is won on the number: sharpen the price before polishing the prose.
  • “Void & Decant property Repairs and Refurbishment / Planned Maintenance” is a framework: the contest is a place on its panel, up to 12 suppliers, not a single contract.

Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
