- The authority expects to re-tender this requirement around 1 Oct 2030, 23:59 BST.
- No preliminary market engagement: A preliminary market engagement exercise was not undertaken as the requirement is well-defined, routine in nature, and the Health Board has a clear understanding of the market based on recent similar procurements. No issues were identified that required early supplier input, and the procurement route, specification, and budget were already confirmed by the Health Board. Undertaking PME would not have provided additional value or altered the scope or approach. A fully open and competitive tender process will ensure transparency, equal treatment, and adequate opportunity for all suppliers to participate.
CPV: Consulting services for water-supply and waste-water other than for construction · Operation of water supplies · Water demineralisation services · Water desalination services · Water softening services

- Price: Evaluation of total contract cost, including all scheduled items, call-out rates, PPM activities, and any additional pricing required in accordance with the pricing schedule.
- Price carries 60 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 6 points. This one is won on the number: sharpen the price before polishing the prose.
