This contract is due to expire 30/06/2025, however following advice from the NWSSP Legal and Risk Department, provision to further extend this agreement is to be utilised while an improved Specification and bespoke Terms and Conditions are reviewed.
It is the Health Board's intent to extend this agreement in line with the current Specification and agreed contract pricing to ensure continuity across the effected area.
This agreement is to run in line with the current contract term of 01/07/2025-30/06/2026.This 12 month period will allow NWSSP Procurement Services to work closely with the associated parties while review is undertaken by the relevant Legal and Risk colleagues.
- Risks
Lack of contract extension would cause a high risk to the Health Board and Local Authorities due to the key role this service plays within the community model. Bespoke Terms and Conditions are to be built to ensure clear support for all Contracting Authorities while this 12 month extension period is active.
