Tender for the undeertaking of a geotechnical investigation for the ground conditions relevant to the re-installing of a passenger service on the railway line between Hoo Junction and Grain, also known as the Grain Branch Line. It is proposed that at specific locations the existing single-track line will be made into double track to create passing points. Furthermore, itis possible that an elevated section of track, Higham Curve, will be required where the Grain Branch Line curves to connect with Higham Station.
