Official UK procurement notice
Mitcham Market Management · UK public procurement notice
Authority: London Borough of Merton (Local council)
What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionThe London Borough of Merton are seeking a company/contractor with existing experience and contacts with registered market traders to increase the number of market stall holders and the diversity of stalls to make the market offer in Mitcham a vibrant regular market. This is in line with other proposals for the town centre including a night time enterprise zone and the recruitment of a town centre manager.
The London Borough of Merton currently operates a small market in Mitcham town centre and Morden town centre. The Local Authority want to explore opportunities to expand the current Mitcham market and look at opportunities to develop other sites in Merton.
