What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionCantium Business Solutions (Cantium) is a Local Authority Trading Company (LATCo),whose ultimate parent company is Kent County Council (KCC). Cantium provides tailored ICT, HR, and Finance services to its customers across the UK, including support for all Kent County Council offices and over 600 Schools. This uniquely enables us to drive innovation and progressive practices to deliver the best value for our clients.
Cantium Business Solutions Limited is looking to engage a selection of Preferred Suppliers for the supply of Occupational Health Physician Services. Any contractual offer made will be against a zero-value agreement as any sales will be based on best value for our customers.
The contract would be for an initial period of 36 months with two options to extend for a further period of 12 months each, solely at the buyer’s discretion. The contract will expire in its entirety after 36 months if not extended.
The estimated total contract value based on a 36-month term is approximately £180,000. This is an indicative value of expected expenditure and not a committed spend. Spend will be based on buyer need only. Further background and technical information can be found within the Invitation to Tender (ITT) documentation.

The bidder must provide evidence that each of their OHP’s delivering services as part of this contract have at least one or more of the following Occupational Health Practitioner qualifications/accreditations
including but not limited to:
- Diploma of Occupational Medicine
- AFOM Accreditation
- MFOM Accreditation
- FFOM Accreditation
- Equivalent qualification or accreditation
- Staff
- Names and qualifications of delivery staff must be submitted
- Price carries 60 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 6 points. This one is won on the number: sharpen the price before polishing the prose.
Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
