Published requirement description

Re-opening of the Care and Support at Home Framework.

CPV: Health and social work services

How this framework works

From the published notice
Framework period

7 yrs from 29 Sept 2024, The Services are deemed to be health, social and related services (Schedule 3 Social and “social and other specific services”) for the purposes of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (SI 2015/102) (the “Regulations”). As the value of the Services exceeds the threshold of the “light touch” procurement regime set out in Chapter 3 Section 7 of the 2015 Regulations, the Regulations will apply.

Lots and requirements (10)Procurement structure

10 lots · all with a published value

Every one of these 2 lots carries the same published figure, £40,000,000: it is the framework's maximum for the whole notice, not each lot's own budget, and no share per lot is published. The cards below say ceiling above rather than repeat it.

Shared scope across 2 of 10 lots

Applies to lots 5, 10.

Lot 5 is emergency provision which is care that will be called off in the event of an urgent situation which may require a large-scale response. Packages may be grouped together for bidding and response times may be shortened, dependent on the requirements of the situation. The terms and conditions of this will be set out in any future mini competition/s dependent on the situation.
