- Published justification
It is considered that this Contract can be placed using the Negotiated procedure without prior publication pursuant to Regulation 16(1)(a)(ii) of the UK Defence and Security Public Contract Regulations 2011 - Rheinmetall BAE Systems Land (RBSL) hold the proprietary data in relation to the maintenance of the training systems for REME. This data also includes the software source code and operating software. Only Rheinmetall BAE Systems Land (RBSL) has access to the technical specifications for the training aids and access is required to those technical specifications to enable the maintenance work to be undertaken.
