Published requirement description

Dorset Council is seeking tenders from capable service providers for the provision of

Supported Housing for Young People.

The Council is required through a “sufficiency duty” to secure sufficient accommodation for

children and young people under their care who cannot live at home.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide high quality services and be part of making a

positive contribution to the lives and well-being of our young people.

The longer-term vision for children and young people in Dorset is detailed in the Children,

Young People and Families Plan 2020 to 2023.

  • Quality: 45
  • Social Value: 5
  • Price: 50
What this means for your bid
  • Price carries 50 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 5 points. This one is won on the number: sharpen the price before polishing the prose.
  • “The Provision of Supported Housing for Young People” is a framework: the contest is a place on its panel, not a single contract.

Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
